Operation Project HOPE – August Newsletter

A Day of Service

On Friday, August 12th, our Leadership Academy helped facilitate “A Day of Service” for the employees of Health Care Partners. Their volunteers beautified Arroyo Seco Museum Science Magnet School by painting new, positive murals. The group also brightened up the landscaping and installed a new awning for the bulletin area. In just a few hours, the campus was ready for the new school year.

Thank you, Health Care Partners, for your kind donation, and for helping us achieve “World Peace, One Child at a Time.”

The third class of our Leadership Academy will be starting in February 2018. We’re so proud of the achievements and growth of our first two classes.

Topeka Elementary School Beautification

Thank you to all our wonderful volunteers and generous donors! You helped make our beautification project at Topeka Drive Elementary School a huge success. We had over 500 volunteers throughout the day and many kinds of donations from Home Depot, Dunn-Edwards Paints, Target, Trader Joes, Buy Low Markets, Simply Fresh Fruit, and many more, including numerous monetary donations from our friends and family.  We were honored to visit Topeka again on Monday and share in the celebration and joy that the students, teachers, and staff felt for their newly beautified campus. Stay tuned for photos and videos from the project.
