Yvette ZR Rapose
Vice President
Yvette was born and raised in Los Angeles. She is the youngest of three children. Having grown up alongside her two siblings and immigrant parents in the small community of Cypress Park, she witnessed inequity at a young age and committed her life to public service. She has served as a public servant professionally over the span of 25 years and as a committed volunteer and co-founding board member for Operation Project HOPE over the last decade. Ms. Rapose is also an at-large member, representing Metro on the WTS-LA Board. WTS-LA is the Los Angeles chapter of the Women’s Transportation Seminar, an international organization dedicated to building the future of global transportation through the advancement of women.
Ms. Rapose is the Chief Communications Officer at Metro. She has six business units in her charge: Art and Design, Community Relations, Customer Care, Government Relations, Marketing and Public Relations; and has served Metro since 2000. Yvette has a Bachelor of Science in Business Administration and a Master of Science in Public Administration from California State University, Los Angeles. Public service is at the root of Yvette’s core, she has served tirelessly on Operation Project HOPE’s Board of Directors since our inception. Yvette lives in La Crescenta with her husband John and son Malakai. |
