Mark Kempton is the Founder and Chief Executive of Kempton Accountancy, a California based accounting, business advisory, and tax planning firm serving business owners and their businesses. Mark began his professional career with KPMG Peat Marwick, an international public accounting firm, and rose to the rank of Partner, becoming partner in charge of the Sacramento Accounting and Audit practice. Following his career in public accounting, Mark began working in chain retail, restructuring, mortgage, real estate, and the food industry in a variety of positions, including Chief Financial Officer and Division President. Since its founding, Mark has served as Treasurer and a member of the Board of Directors of Operation Project HOPE.

Having grown up in Northern California, Mark lives in Huntington Beach and is glad to be by the beach again after moving to Los Angeles more than 20 years ago. Mark enjoys car racing and has recently become an F-1 fanatic. He has set his sights on watching an F-1 event at the United States Grand Prix in Austin, Texas, and Monza, in Italy, the home of his favorite team, Ferrari. On the home front, he is a long-time fan of NASCAR.
